Elizabeth Kaulinan Poem

Alone on my birthday i have never been before,
Dad at camp and am home alone
,
seven months have passed and Peters still gone.

Now mothers a nurse, oh what an outburst

Grandparents, grandmother, uncles,

 and aunts Annie and Herdel
are scattered around town.
Sadly i am alone in my kitchen,

i even cooked my own meal,

I Am writing on my bitrhday,

and Today I A
m Sixteen.
